Items (gem boxes) containing several stones can be split (splitted) into split items by removing stones.
This creates a new item with the same stone code, to which the extension "/1" has been added as a sequential numbering of the splitting process.
Both the "mother" box from which parts of the gems were taken and the new split can created are relabeled.
In the case of the mother box, the number of remaining stones as well as the original number of stones will be printed out
(e.g. "3 (5)" - there are still 3 of the original 5 stones in the mother box.
The split can shows only the number of contained stones.
The creation of the new split item and the posting of the withdrawal to the mother item is done only after the new labels for the split article and the modified mother article have been issued.

Splits are carried out in different ways due to the general conditions in the office and in the field service
Split - Indoor service
The split is performed in the item management. If the item is used in a procedure (e.g. sales transaction), the split is transferred to this transaction.
This means that the newly created split item is added to the procedure and the original item is corrected by the stones removed from the split item.
